„Die Zukunft der Mobilität ist elektrisch, vernetzt und autonom!“
Seit 2015 lautet so unser Credo und ist auch das Leitmotiv der eMove360° Europe 2020 – Internationale Fachmesse für Mobilität 4.0, der weltweit größten Fachmesse, die sich ausschließlich mit den Themen Elektromobilität und Vernetztes & Autonomes Fahren beschäftigt. Sie findet von 20. bis 22. Oktober dieses Jahres auf dem Gelände der Messe München statt.
Im Jahr 2019 wurden mehr als 60.000 batterieelektrische PKW neu zugelassen, hinzukommen noch etwa 240.000 Hybridautos sowie rund 400 Wasserstofffahrzeuge (Stand: Ende 2018). Das bedeutet zweierlei Dinge: Einerseits kann sich die Branche über ordentliche Zuwachsraten freuen, andererseits besteht bei den absoluten Zahlen noch viel Potenzial. Der Anteil an Elektrofahrzeugen auf deutschen Straßen muss noch deutlich zulegen, um die Klimaziele zu erreichen und die Emissionen insbesondere in den Städten zu reduzieren.
Doch der Übergang zur Elektromobilität umfasst mehr als nur den Wechsel des Antriebssystems. Neue Mobilitätskonzepte müssen entwickelt und zur Marktreife gebracht werden. Das Laden der Elektroautos muss irgendwann so schnell, einfach und intuitiv funktionieren wie das Betanken eines fossilen Fahrzeugs – und auch in der Batterietechnologie schlummert noch einiges Potenzial. Beim vernetzten und autonomen Fahren ist Deutschland zwar Technologieführer und deutsche Unternehmen halten die meisten Patente in diesem Bereich, dennoch hinken wir bei der praktischen Umsetzung hinterher. Trotz enormer technischer Fortschritte gibt es also noch einiges zu tun, um der Neuen Mobilität flächendeckend zum Durchbruch zu verhelfen.
Deswegen haben wir es uns als Veranstalter der eMove360° Europe 2020 zur Aufgabe gemacht, die besten Produkte und interessantesten Projekte in diesem Bereich nicht nur auf der Messe zu zeigen, sondern auch in einem internationalen Wettbewerb zu prämieren. Der eMove360° Award für Elektromobilität & Autonomes Fahren geht in seine mittlerweile vierte Auflage und hat in den vergangenen Jahren einige sehr spannende Gewinner hervorgebracht.
Alle Award-Finalisten werden im Rahmen einer Sonderausstellung auf der eMove360° Europe 2020 (20. - 22. Oktober 2020, Messe München) gezeigt. Die Preisverleihung findet am Abend des 19. Oktober 2020 im einzigartigen Ambiente des Gloria-Palasts im Herzen von München statt.

„The future of mobility is electric, connected and autonomous!“
This has been our credo since 2015 and is also the guiding principle of the eMove360° Europe 2020 - International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0, the world‘s largest trade fair, which deals exclusively with the topics of Electric Mobility as well as Connected & Autonomous Driving. It will take place this year from October 20 to 22 on the grounds of Messe München.
In 2019, more than 60,000 battery-electric cars were newly registered, plus around 240,000 hybrid cars and some 400 hydrogen vehicles (as of the end of 2018). That means two things: On the one hand, the industry can look forward to decent growth rates, on the other hand, there is still a lot of potential with the absolute figures. The share of electric vehicles on German roads still has to increase significantly in order to achieve the climate targets and reduce emissions, especially in cities.
But the transition to electric mobility involves much more than the mere replacement of the drivetrain system. New mobility concepts have to be developed and brought to market. Charging electric cars has to work as quickly, easily and intuitively as refueling a fossil vehicle – and there is still a lot of potential in battery technology. Germany is the technology leader in connected and autonomous driving and German companies hold most of the patents in this area, but we are lagging behind in practical implementation. Despite enormous technical advances, there is still a lot to do to help new mobility make its breakthrough on a large scale.
That is why we as organizers of eMove360° Europe 2020 have made it our task not only to show the best products and most interesting projects in this area at the trade fair, but also to reward them in an international competition. The eMove360° Award for Electric Mobility & Autonomous Driving is now in its fourth edition and has produced some very exciting winners in recent years.
All award finalists will be presented in a special exhibition at eMove360° Europe 2020 (October 20-22, 2020, Munich Trade Fair). The award ceremony will take place on the evening of October 19, 2020 in the unique atmosphere of the Gloria-Palast in the heart of Munich.
